The short version: Mino is a private journal. What you say here is yours. We keep it only to run the app for you — never to publish, never to sell, never to train a model. A take you throw away never leaves your phone. You can erase a night, or all of it, whenever you like.
Mino is made by The Healing Labs, in France. We look after the journal.

Each night, Mino asks a question. You answer out loud. If you keep the take, it becomes a tape — something you can come back to. That is the whole product. There is no feed, no followers, no one else in the room.
We hold a tape so Mino can listen back with you: a few words on the page, a little weekly show made from your own nights. Only you hear it.
We keep what the journal needs, and nothing extra.
If you allow a reminder, we keep just enough to tap you on the shoulder at airtime. We look at how the app is used in the aggregate, so we can make it kinder. The words on your tapes are never part of that.
We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not build a profile to show you to anyone. We do not listen in the background — the microphone is on only while you are recording, on purpose, in front of you.
We do not use what you say to train our models, or anyone else's. A take you discard is gone. It is never uploaded.
A sealed tape is stored privately, for you. It is handled with care so Mino can transcribe it, find the word of the minute, and — when the week is full — make your little Sunday show.
A few trusted partners help us run the journal. They see only what they need to do their job, and only for you. They do not get to keep your nights, or turn them into their own product.
Your tapes are not public. They are not a library. They are a drawer only you can open.
A tape stays until you let it go. Delete a night and it leaves. Delete your account and the whole shelf goes with it.
Because there is no email on the account, that goodbye is clean and final. We think that is the honest way.

Mino is for people 15 and older. If someone younger has used it, tell us. We will close the journal and delete what is there.
If the way we keep your tapes changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app. The date above is always the current one.
